[Proposal Series] Why GemFive Should Use SushiVid?

Interested in how we propose to clients? Here is one we proposed to GemFive specifically for it's beauty section. 

Although GemFive sold everything, we only wanted to work on the beauty category because 2 years ago, beauty related products was our strongest suit. Of course, now our categories have expanded! 

We kept this proposal simple, with just our ideas, the proposed influencers, timeline and a short disclaimer. It's important to put a disclaimer because we do not want to make room for errors or wrong assumptions! 

What we proposed for GemFive was to use long-tail influencers to create content consistently because we wanted to set GemFive apart from the other marketplaces by first creating contents that is valuable for their merchants as well as their buyers. This would in turn build loyalty amongst its buyers.

We also felt that there isn't any e-commerce player that is focused on video content just yet. 

Nobody else was doing it then, nobody is doing it now (still), any e-commerce player wants to give this a shot?

Since we want GemFive to stand out by making video contents, we went for Youtubers cause they make engaging and detailed videos which would allow the audience to understand more about the brand as it's explained rather than them having to read about it.

Plus, people tend to remember information better when conveyed through word-of-mouth. 

When it comes to choosing influencers, we did not choose solely based on their skills or looks. We looked for individuality, personality and energy that we think would best represent the brand.

We chose this sweetheart because she has that girl next door vibe- great insights in her content as well. 

Sample Influencer 3:

Originality is very rare especially when everyone is doing it- in this case being a YouTuber.

It's not easy trying to stand out in a crowd of people doing the same thing but this Influencer manages to attract our attention with her bubbly personality and great video content.

Sample Influencer 4:

You’ll grow to like this one- she’s really engaging in her videos and she speaks very well (mandarin speaker). We believe her style and video content will serve GemFive really well.  

We always like to set our deliverables upfront because it matters so much to us that we can do a good job given a tight timeline- but you know how agencies are, always rushing!
